making weird shit since forever
Handmade.
As MoonStation Design I create functional art pieces, products, and custom signage, from concept to wood to paint to wiring.
Here are a few things I’ve been up to.
The day job. Creative Director : Interactive.
As Creative Director at Marca Studio in Vancouver, BC I’ve in planning, design, development and installation of projects across North America to produce custom interactive TouchScreen installations, iPad apps, interactive wall displays and architectural model integrations. Always a challenge, we’ve been able to come up with some creative products over time that have truly helped shape the in-person sales experience for Real Estate, luxury product manufacturers, and architecture.

Garrett Moon
I live and work in the Vancouver BC area, where I studied film, graphic and interactive design at the Emily Carr University of Art & Design. In the ‘00s I co-founded Marca Studio Inc, in beautiful Gastown, which has been a pioneer of interactive design & visualisation for product marketing, real estate and manufacturing with projects throughout Canada, the US and Japan.
A constant self-learner, my practice has over time taken on new skills - from motion graphics to laser-cutting to woodworking and fabrication.
Whether it’s large interactive TouchScreen installations or funky home accessories – I concept, I design, I develop, I build. What you see here represents my exploration of all these things, and I’m itching to do more.
Want to talk about an idea? Hit me up, I’d love to hear from you.
